This movie scared the crap out of me
I don't know why.

Perhaps it's the overall concept. I remember seeing this on Nickelodeon's "Special Delivery" program.
shareThe scene where the grandmother was recharging herself in her rocking chair made me cringe. I'd love to watch this movie again though.

"House. My room. Can't walk. My medal. My father. Father, don't!"
*Cringe*
shareWell, I just watched it on a DVD-R purchased from an Australian site. It brought back a deluge of memories. I'm happy to say that the parts I remember being creepy just seem kinda weird now that I see them through an adult's eyes.

Funny, thats the scene that has always stayed with me too - such an odd movie...
shareI grew up obsessed with this movie. I LOVED it as a little girl, yet it always made me cry. I saw it on youtube one day last moth and since have loved it again (though now I don't cry) it's in 5 parts, but quick downloads with keepvid.com
shareYeah, that makes sense. It was written by Ray Bradbury and he was obviously someone who probably was mildly scared by things as a kid - his stories often involve kids in scary situations - Something Wicked This Way Comes is all about kids who go to a creepy carnival but it's about kids growing up.
Bradbury's stories are often pretty creepy.
What hump?
Bradbury was a freak.

What films? Avatar *IS* the best film of all time!!!!!!
What hump?
I didn't say Avatar, did I? I'm talking about people who take the comments I post on certain boards the wrong way, then bash me for my thoughts and feelings about said film.

Ha ha! I was teasing again. Sorry Wofenskarn.
I know exactly how you feel. I take movies pretty seriously but not so much I can't laugh at them and myself. Then again, I now have two teen-aged kids, that really teaches you to laugh at yourself!
What hump?
lol. it's cool.
