To me, this was one of the funniest scenes in the movie. Paul Bland was established as such as prude by this point-it was a great example of character comedy.
Paul (sheepishly): "I'd like a vibrator please....."
And the store clerk was priceless..."hey, if you taste it, you buy it."

If you ever watched Seinfeld, John Paragon (Jambi the Genie/Sex Store Clerk) appears 3 times as part of a gay couple AKA Cedric and Bob. You know the guys who steal the Armoire from Kramer and attack him for not wearing the ribbon?!?!
