Film based upon Star Wars existing as an historical event within the ET Universe?

Someone should make an entertaining (I can see it working as an indie production) film of some dudes trying to get the truth from Lucas / sneaking around Skywalker Ranch trying to find the hidden evidence.

I guess the film would serve as a very loose sequel to ET or at least exist within the ETEU. George Lucas would be a bit of a parallel to Joseph Smith and the Mormons but only he decided to cash in on the artifacts / stories he found...

They play with Star Wars toys in ET. Therefore the Star Wars films exist with the ET "universe" (if you want to call it that).

The ET species is also shown within the Star Wars films. Therefore you could have a tale within the ETEU whereby some people come across some pictures / footage of ET's stop off on Earth and being huge Star Wars fans recognise he is the same species shown in Star Wars. This would lead them to believe that Star Wars could be real and they set off on a journey to try and find out the truth...

Could be a fun (not necessarily comedy) road movie or something.
