Shout out to Allen Daviau for some pretty amazing cinematography on this film. Its hard to believe it was filmed in 1981 - it looks better than some movies that came out literally a decade later.
shareWell, today's films are shot with economy in mind. You've got a medium that no longer required downtime and director approval, and is essentially immediate; digital "film", so you don't need the kind of care and setup that you saw in previous films.
