Paul Reiser airbrushed into the movie poster

I just noticed they airbrushed Paul Reiser into the original movie poster picture of Kevin Bacon, Steve Guttenberg, Tim Daily, Daniel Stern and Mickey Rourke. Paul Reiser was never in that picture before and he couldn't have been because he's cracking jokes from the stage while the 5 of them are sitting and listening to him.

You're exactly right, and that's pretty funny. Quick Googling reveals that the space where Paul Reiser pops up was formerly occupied by a blue and white (Colts colors) floral arrangement.

Presumably as Reiser's star rose above some of the other guys in the "Mad About You" era, the marketing people got ahold of the graphics people....

Yeah, I loved this movie when it originally came out and I had the VHS tape so the cover was very familiar. I guessed they photoshopped him into the picture. Yeah it could be they added him into the picture after his Mad About You success.

I always thought they underutilized him in this movie because he was hilarious. It's odd because the movie literally starts out with him and he's in the first 20 minutes of the film and then he basically disappears for the next hour. Then he comes back for a scene at the diner and the football quiz, then he disappears again then he's the only guy talking at the end and then for the credits. They just used him in a odd way. I would have preferred more scenes with Reiser than that dumb stripper scene or those pointless scenes with Boogie and the rich girl on the horse. .
