A great slasher flick that was my childhood film!

First of all I just gotta say that I absolutely LOVE this film....true it's not a gory film really, compared to the likes of the Friday the 13th series, but it holds its own. My Grandma and I used to always watch this film when I was a kid and not having seen it for many many years, my awesome friend Wayne was able to get me this great film on dvd! WOW.....I watched it the other night at work and those great memories came flooding back, lol.....just like being at Nan's house again and hiding behind the sofa!!!
My dad told my nan the other day that I had it on dvd and she was so pleased and even she remembered all the same great memories I had from all those years ago :)
This film seems to have mixed reviews on here, but for me it will always be one of my favourite films and one that I will always hold dear to my heart.

Thanks for stopping by....I know it wasn't a review really, just wanted to share my great memories me and my nan have for this awesome film.

Best wishes!

This is a movie I have not seen in eon's. I remember watching it alot when I was a kid on Spotlight! which later became The Movie Channel and haven't seen it in like 25 years. I just bought the VHS on Ebay and am waiting for it to arrive so that I can see it again.

This is also one of 'my' childhood films. I had a lot in common with the main character as I was just a bit younger and had a new dad. It made the movie all that much better. I would watch it every time it came on when I was a kid back in the day. I hadn't seen it in over 20 years and finally got the chance to see it again. It still held up great. The scene where Billingsley douses all that shampoo and other eye irritants into the shower cap to blind the guy always stuck with me. A good little suspense flick.

I didn't see it when I was young, but saw it for the first time tonight. (I was pleased to see that it came out the year I was born, though!)

I can understand why it gets mixed reviews, but I thought it was okay!

Yeah, I also loved it as a kid and it's held up surprisingly well today. You'll find it on youtube now, without breaks btw.

The RV camper sequence stands out as a very memorable scene.
