Yes I would say that it was and more than likely taken from an old VHS tape so it would'nt really be an upgrade from what I already have.

Awesome thanks 'stompy' Im a massive fan of the original book, and although Im aware the film isnt much like the novel im so happy I'll get a chance to watch it now. I did see the film in the 80's on Tv in the Uk but I was probably less than 10 years old and as I remember my mum making me turn it off because I would be too scared!

I read the director kept telling the dogs to quit yapping .
And when they killed a person the dogs would lick them.

Well it was more the dog HANDLERS but yes the wiener dogs were an excitable bunch

They put corn syrup blood and some dog food on our faces so that they'd eat us alive!

Oh happy day, this movie has finally had an official DVD/BluRay release from Shout Factory. (Released on 15 July 2014.) You can find it on the usual e-commerce web sites.
