What was the drink Billy made with milk?

I have made and drank a variety of mixed drinks and straight liquors all my life. When Billy in "The Crate" (I'm not going to attempt to spell the actress' name) comes home and reads her husband's note, she pours a glass of milk and pours some liquor in it. Other than a White Russian I can't think of any mixed drink that calls for milk. I'm guessing they just wanted to show her drinking but why not have her mix with something normal?

Whisky or scotch I would say? In either case it looked kind of gross especially since she took it all the way to the lab with her where it probably all warm. bleh.

It's Billie, first of all, or Wilma, to be more clear. I thought it was some sort of whiskey with milk.
