The Maguire sisters---SINCERELY !!

i fell in love with the Maguire sisters watching this movie and had to go get their albums. Sincerely, just for Old Times Sake, Sugar in the Morning, etc. What great voices they had (and have) I just saw them on one of those PBS fabulous 50`s shows and they sounded great. Too bad about the plastic surgery though. I`m sure they would have looked great without it.

Their music in the background of this movie was one of the major factors in my being completely captivated, by the film. I was a young boy when Sincerely was a hit and probably hadn't heard it again since the 50s. It brought back a flood of warm memories... Mmmmmm

I, too, saw them on the PBS 50s show and was horrified at Phyllis' appearance. She looked as if she belonged in a wax museum! It was scary to look at her. I believe she would have been beautiful no matter what, but I guess if you've got the coins to have your face pulled so tightly that your kneecaps move when you raise your eyebrows, then go for it.

this show is being done at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles on May 8th and that it is currently going on at another performance arts theater in Los angeles. I hear that tickets are sold out but I am going to try to go.

How was it?

I saw them at the Showboat hotel in Vegas in the late 80s. They did The Pina Colada Song, and "When My Baby Smiles at Me I Go to Rio..". All these years later, I'm still picking detrius of that experience out of my ears.

Nightmare of horror. Nightmare of pain.

Butt out of this or I’ll strip the hide off your cherry picker!
