I recall how Jack Nicholson was trying to keep up with his wife's spending; She surprised him with a pool and always came home with new stuff. I think this was not his most "Evil" role, that was in The Shining. This is a movie that shows ,however, there are crooked people in any line of work. Nicholson is a wonderful star and I love many roles he played.
shareTouching film... A good film to see now upon all of the uprise in discussion regarding Border policy. I guess it's always in duscussion whether or not to allor or what to do with Illegals in the U.S. but there seems to be a lot more talk about it right now for some reason.

Nicholson was excellent as the morally conflicted Charlie Smith; his subtle acting added tremendously to the film's gritty realism.

nah, it was average with many hollywood cheap cliches, the hero can't kill the most brutal villains although he try but they die accidentally, unbelievably silly.
