Is this movie in any way related to "Bonnie and Clyde"?

Hi.

Is this movie in any way related to the 60s classic "Bonnie and Clyde", are "Bonnie's Kids" meant to be related to Bonnie character from that famous movie?

Or are both movies totally unrelated to each other?
