Were there more movies in 'horror vision'?

I could almost SWEAR I rented more then 1 movie back around 84, 85 that had the same "horror vision" shtick (cover your eyes when you see THIS or hear THIS).

Hey!
There is one film that uses a similar gimmick, it's Cannibal Girls by Ivan Reitman. Very cheesy and *beep* film too, but with a better atmosphere.
