Code Red -- blegh

I appreciate Code Red for releasing these lost gems, but their supplemental materials leave a LOT to be desired.

I recently watched the BOARDINGHOUSE DVD, and the behind-the-scenes interviews consisted of a badly composed shot on a cheap consumer camcorder with in-camera sound. There was no effort to even edit out the moments were the tripod is knocked by the interviewer!

My wife and I had a long, painful laugh.

Not all of Code Reds behind the scenes are like this. Besides the movie IS Boardinghouse- I found it rather fitting.

I collect dead pigeons then I press them between the pages of a book.

Don't Go In The Woods had a similar featurette where all the flaws were left in but it's cool it makes it more enjoyable and fis these 80's films well.

Dude, the Code Red has a COMMENTARY track for the film, too, or were you too stoned to find that feature? 100 minutes from the director talking about his film (made 25 years ago)...I'd say that's a pretty good extra.

This is very hard to read, isn't it?

If you're upset about in-camera audio on the extras for a film like Boardinghouse, you have your priorities out of line. It's a joke that went over your head.
