Amazing that people like this film. I do too!

This movie was purchased by my mother in a cheapy bin under its alternate title "Housegeist". I immediately fell in love with it's total cheesiness and bad acting. For a few years it was a weekly tradition to watch this with a friend of mine. When that friend and I had a falling out, the film became an occasional guilty pleasure. The "Housegeist" version I have is a very poor quality transfer from the actual filmed-on-video transfer. I rented a "Boarding House" VHS to see if it was any different, and it appeared that it had been transfered to film. Not only did it make the movie very dull and grainy, but it also zoomed in the frame and cut out bits of all sides of the frame. If a full video transfer is made available on DVD, I think I'd have to buy it. "Focus, White Light..."
