Boardinghouse ladies in The Beach Girls (1982)

I was watching this dopey comedy The Beach Girls, and it became a Where's Waldo experience when I spotted some of the BH tenants in there as uncredited extras. Anybody else notice this?

In a couple party scenes, we glimpse Kalassu dancing in her one piece blue bathing suit. The blonde who hallucinated eating a mouse in the shower, we see her in the swimming pool and right before that she's even wearing the same yellow bathrobe. The character Cindy is seen in the foreground of opening scene, and running out the house to the beach; she's wearing the same two-piece pink bikini. Alexandra Day is running with her.

There *might* be one more, hard to tell. The Boardinghouse brunette with the bright bluish purple eyes, she resembles a topless girl in the pool (wearing a blue and red bottom).

Hilarious. I JUST watched Boardinghouse last night, and was googling some of the actresses right now to see what they're up to. I'll check it out. I'm about 5 minutes in on Youtube and, you're right, that IS "Cindy" lying on the beach.

Okay, I finished it. Thank you so much for recommending that flick. I can watch anything Crown International, but I actually kinda liked it. As in, I thought it was fun, and not terribly made. And not really boring (although I was incredibly stoned when I saw it). I'm a big fan of BOARDINGHOUSE, so it was fun to see "the girls." I can confirm all your sightings. Not sure about the BOARDINGHOUSE brunette in the pool. Like you, I'm fairly certain, but not entirely. Her name was Tracy O'Brien, and she was a real-life girlfriend to one of the BOARDINGHOUSE band members—so it could very well be her, since they all ran in those circles.

Side note: one of the songs on the soundtrack, "I'm Your Lover" by Billy Kirkland, was also featured in NIGHT TRAIN TO TERROR. I'm so impressed/interested/horrified that it was used in another film from that era.

Wow, I didn't know there was a Night Train connection. Thanks for the tip!
