when it was released. we need way more sad, slow, sleazy, sexy, bleak, action movies taking place in the future in giant futuristic cities with interesting characters and gadgets. especially in the 80s.

shareI've never seen the original version... during the early 00s I bought the Director's Cut and later the Final Cut, love both and it is one of my favorite movies of all time even though as I've grown older I think of it a bit as style over substance... I still love it though.
I too wish it had been a hit and we had more of this universe... I believe Amazon is going to be producing a spinoff series?
