Is Eldon Tyrell a Human or Replicant?

Were there any hints that he is human himself? Or is he a Replicant?

I seem to remember that Tyrell was supposed to be a replicant himself at one point, but it was left out from the final script/movie.

Yes I recall reading about a similar theme somewhere, but wasn't sure where.

Good question! It never occurred to me to think that he might be a Replicant.

That would have taken the story into a whole other -- and darker -- direction.

Yeah would have been a nice twist. There is actually no proof he is human .
