Was the opening theme song sang by Sarah Vaughan? What is the title of it & is it released/available?
Who was that beautiful "East Indian" lady in the painting? (I think it was shown during the opening theme).
Just caught the last hour or so of this movie on the WE network. As to your question, yes, the song was sung by Sarah Vaughan. I was able to catch that in the credits. I am not sure of the exact title, but it is something like "The love I found, I found in you" (it is also mentioned in the credits but it went by too quickly) and I don't know about it's availability. I don't know anything about the painting, though. Hope this helps a bit!
shareYes it is indeed Sarah Vaughan singing the theme song which is called "In Finding You, I Found Love." by Billy Goldenberg and Carol Connors. (It was also nominated for an Emmy Award). It has not been released as a recording anywhere by Ms vaugn unfortunately. You can purchase the sheet music if you look on the web. I have a copy that I purchased back in the late 80s. Maybe you can get lucky and hook the VCR up to the computer and burn an MP3 of the theme. Look for the mini-series on WE or Oxygen. Both channels often show it.
