You think Eduardo bought it? (spoilers)


When the dead Barbarosa crashes that big Zavala party at the end, Eduardo looks right at him, sort of mad for a second, like he's trying to decide what to make of it. Do you think he convinced himself that it was in fact the real one, or did he decide to go along out of respect to the legend?

BTW- That kid was cool. Don Braulio knew it too. That scene where Barbarosa was watching him camped out alone, shouting at the air about what he would do to him was great. I think if Barbarosa had hand-picked somebody to kill himself, he'd have ended up with that same guy.

Just as Karl was continuing the legend of Barbarosa, I think Eduardo understood that someone would have to continue the legend from the family's side as well. Don Braulio wouldn't live forever, so the man who killed Barbarosa is the logical choice to fill that role.
I don't think Eduardo was predisposed to this choice though. I think he had an epiphany of sorts when the new Barbarosa appeared.
