Beaver and his dad?

I know Hugh Beaumont (the father on 'Leave it to Beaver') played a military guy in this movie - but was Jerry Mathers, the real Beaver, also in the movie - right near the end? One of the school kids sure looked like him. Also, the captain from 'Barney Miller' was in here too.
