Sure, the first helicopter entered service in Germany in 1936 but they were not in general use until the mid-1940s. The helicopter in the movie looked like some kind of 1950s or 60s prototype.

The first auto-gyro flew in 1923, and they were used commercially in the thirties. This is supposedly somewhere between 1933 and 1936, so it's entirely possible for Warbucks to have access to one.

Well he called it an "autocopter" and with his money and resources, it wouldn't be hard to believe he had an autogiro built for himself long before helicopters were commercially available.
