Favorite lines?

My all-time favorite has to be Miss Hannigan mocking Molly saying "She hadda go bathroom." My brother and I would get so tickled over it WE hadda go bathroom!

reply

"When you gotta go, you gotta go" came up a lot when I was little.

reply

"Dontcha think maybe you could learn to like me too, sir? Hang ME in the bathroom?"

Funny how some of our favorite lines are bathroom humor.

...MaggietheCatIsAlive is coming to you live from her home town in lovely Canada!!

*ruining the pattern of bathroom-related lines*

Miss Hannigan: "Annie? You don't want Annie!"
Grace: "Why not?"
Miss Hannigan: "Because... she's a drunk."

reply

"I guess I'll never know the feeling....of running fingers through your hair." Miss Hannigan to Daddy Warbucks. I always just crack up at that line!

Go shake down the 7-11 for a day old wiener. Melvin- As Good as it Gets

When Miss Hannigan was singing to Daddy Warbucks, all her lines were funny. I especially love when he says at the end "sign, sign", and she says something and then ends the song with "swine". Hilarious. Carol Burnett is the greatest!

We come from a small farm in Canada where we've got lots of ducks and chickens and geese and roosters. (Crows)

reply

xD Miss Hannigan mocking ANYONE is utterly hilarious, really. The "hadda go bathroom" line is probably the best one though.

Mine......oh geeze, there are so many...let me think...

I like Miss Hannigan and the policeman:

Hannigan: How...can I ever thank YOU...enough?
Policeman: I'm...sure we could think of something if we put our heads together.
Pepper: KISSY KISSY KISSY!!
Hannigan: *screaming* KILL....KILL!!!!!!!!!!!
Pepper: *runs away*

XD

And I always crack up when Warbucks is reading for the commerical and he reads the narration out loud like "TURN PAGE! TAKES PAUSE. WARBUCKS INTERRUPTS! DROP PAGE!!"

He's so dumb! XD And I mean that in the most positive way possible. ^_^

Hey, it's the "mori no otomodachi!!

I like those listed above and also when Molly stamps on Miss Hannigan's foot, she says, "You never miss". I think that's funny. I also especially like when Miss Hannigan mocks Molly and says, "She hadda go bathroom". I think that's so funny the way she mocks her.

Lily St. Regis: "Beg your pardon I'm sure, but I don't stoop to what you're incinerating."

Always gives me a laugh. Her word mix-up is great.

FDR: "Sing Oliver, that's an order from your Commander and Chief... sing, Republicans too Oliver!"

Aside from the song "Sign", the light political banter with the scene when they go to see the president is my favorite.

"You ever been to Bonus Ayrees?"

reply

aside from "Had to go bathroom" line (that kills me everytime), I also love "Do I hear happiness in here?" we always loved that line...sometimes my mom would hear my sister and I laughing about something in our room and she would come in saying this...

"This scar is a fleck on my porcelain skin, tried to reach deep but you couldn't get in..."

reply

"Why any kid would want to be an orphan is beyond me"
"She hadda go bathroom"(Miss Hannigan's mimicking is what cracks me up most)
The whole of Sign has many quotable parts, as does Little Girls.
"Kissy, Kissy, Kissy!" K-iii-ll, K-III-LL!"
"This is Lily St Regis", "Named from the hotel", "Room service!"
"You are special. Never stop believing that"(that part as well as the locket scene is very touching)
"Hold it sister, you peddling beauty products. Cos I don't need no beauty products"

'DID I JUST DO A COMMERCIAL?!'

I love everything Daddy Warbucks says in that scene, mostly because of the way he says the lines, emphasizing the wrong words.

reply

I like when the girls come to Warbuck's mansion and say, "Sir" and another girl interrupts and says, "I think he's a heinous". "Your heinous".

reply

She said "Highness",not "heinous".

Marry me,Bob Gunton!

reply

What was I thinking? You are absolutely right! oops. "Your Highness".

reply

omg, that was and still is my all time favorite line.
