There was a generator. I'm watching the movie right now ... when Potter arrives at the hospital after the four have escaped, a policeman tells him the utility generator "conked out".

Then you would've been here complaining the movie was only five minutes long. You see, this is what morons like you do. Your intelligence is too low to comprehend a film requires suspension of disbelief, that it is entertainment and not a logic puzzle. As another poster has said, it was mentioned that the generator had stopped functioning. But even if it hadn't, five minutes wouldn't have been much of a movie.
