Is this the movie where... ???

I saw that movie many years ago in which a crew of astronauts tries to maneuver their broken ship through space while their board computer in shape of a growing red ball (tomatoe? homage to the red light of space odyssee´s hal? can´t remember for sure but it looked cheap) tries to sabotage them. It was a really strange movie - weird humor - with very long silent passages. Actors were all very 70s.

In the end the computer succeeds and blows up the ship. In the last scene one of the astronauts "surfs" a part of the wreckage through space. I think this was underlined by "surfin usa" by the beach boys but i´m not sure if i maybe confuse this with an old atari videogame.
Is this airplane 2? If not, any ideas?
