Near the beginning, when we see an alien hand (resembling that of E.T.) pick up a payphone to ring the operator:
E.T.: "Phone home...phone home..."
Operator: "Please deposit 60 billion dollars for the first three minutes."
HAHAHA
Interesting that they got that joke in, since it was from the same year. Must've been an added scene they did at the last minute, like in the third Naked Gun film where Tonya Harding was mentioned.
shareI've always thought the oft-asked about (here) girl who says I don't mean to sound forward but I never been with a man before was somehow meant to be a shot at Fast Times at Ridgemont High's Stacy (Jennifer Jason Leigh) , who was likewise trying to pick up men for the first time..and that also came out the same year,1982. Could be wrongh but if ET made it in..
