Ganz's last scene was a bit weak

After his outrage at being shot, he holds the pistol like it's a sword, says 'aaaaagh', and begins to charge towards Cates. What was that supposed to be?

...then whoa, differences...

I always thought the same thing

reply

He knew he was a goner...suicide by cop.

reply

He is angry at Ganz for shooting him and figures he'll try to shoot him or die trying.

reply

I'll assume you meant angry at Cates for shooting him, and I can understand that but why didn't he shoot at Cates instead of the weird gun-waving charge attack? I wonder what he was planning to do if and when he got close to him.

No more beans in his piece. In some movies they throw the gun at the other guy instead. :P

reply

Its cuz he was shot in shoulder. Helping his hurt side lift gun hand. Hes left handed. Dont ask the obvious tho lol

reply

Agree - he wasn't able to lift the gun with his shooting hand so he charged Cates instead.

He actually did get the gun lowered to pointing position by the time Cates started unloading on him.

But ultimately, he's just a crazy dude - not everything he does has to make sense.

I agree. But, as kids, we used to recreate that — a lot of fun that was...
