Wasn't There A Third Show?

Tales of the Gold Monkey on ABC, Bring'Em Back Alive on CBS or NBC, think it was CBS, but it doesn't matter.

Wasn't there a third show back then? All three were short-lived.

I wonder if it was that Casablanca with David Soul I am recalling?

reply

Oooh. Yeah. I'd forgotten all about that one. Am a David Soul fan.

I think this Casablanca looked more like the tv miniseries version of From Here To Eternity with William Devane and Natalie Wood. I'm not sure.

I watched NONE of them.

I think Collins and Gold Monkey was the one we tried the most, but it was just bizarre seeing someone from Star Trek like that, the first motion picture.

Boxleitner and Bring Em Back Alive was a lost cause. Something else aired opposite it. It was never seen.

I remember Gold Monkey on Saturday night, but thought Bring'em Back Alive aired toward the weekend too, but Wikipedia says it aired on Tuesday night, opposite Happy Days and A-Team, so yea, I didn't watch it at all.

reply

I only remember watching 'TotGM.' (Of the new shows.)
