classic episode.. guest starring the medieval-era Black Knight (good guy), and Modred the magician (bad guy)..
the combination of superheroes vs. fantasy/D&D villains was very good.. especially the ending where Modred's demons turn on him..
better animation than most of the episodes.. nice John Buscema designs..

shareanybody know if this is included on the DVD set? I hope so, because they don't even show it anymore in syndication, for whatever reason.. I think the word "Demon" ends up a dealbreaker with the censors..

Yeah, the animation is excellent. I think it was animated by Toei, who also did the three Season 2 episodes which had the best animation of the entire series. They also did the Dungeons & Dragons series for Marvel. It's a shame that they didn't animate more Spider-Friends episodes but that's all right. Since I was a kid, it's been one of my favorite episodes. Along Came Spidey is my absolute favorite.
Still got my fingers crossed, waiting for Judas Contract to get green-lit
