Just me or is the quality great compared to modern cartoons?

Just watched it on netflix , and it seems to be more intelligent/better drawn/with better music and art than most modern cartoons? true or false.

It has it's silly/corny moments, but I have to agree that it's better than most stuff today. Also, some episodes are definitely better than others. I have fond memories of this cartoon as a kid and I have been watching it on Netflix too. The cartoon is 30 years old and it has withstood the test on time IMO.

I agree, it seems cut more like a TV show, especially if you think of the TV shows of the time period (ie the A Team, CHiPS, Knight Rider) the plotting of this show doesn't even seem that juvenile in comparison lol.

Or maybe not, lol.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAkyqtoZTzQ

It is just you. The New Thundercats series has far better quality than this show. Even Batman the Animated Series, which was only about 10 years later, is far better than this cartoon.

Its just you. This show is absurd.

It's true! This show is way better than most modern cartoons.

I agree its "better" because its hilarious how terrible it is, and I laughed nonstop throughout. Like I genuinely love the show, but it is literally laughable.

That doesn't make any sense...at all. I'll just assume English is your second language.

Even though I think you clearly understand what I meant, I will clarify: I enjoy the show more than most modern cartoons because it makes me laugh. It makes me laugh, not because it was intending to be humorous, but because it's so horribly devised and executed.
I deem one show or movie to be "better" than another by how much I enjoy the process of watching it. I like to laugh, "spiderman and his amazing friends" makes me laugh.
I don't find many modern cartoon shows especially compelling in any regard, though I can recognize that they are vastly superior in production value and cohesiveness of concept (in general).

This the poorly made show is "better" to me than the much more put together modern alternatives in terms of what I get out of the experience, not in terms of what they INTENDED I should get out of it.

Liking laughable bad media BECAUSE it is laughably bad is not a novel concept.
