Jack Palance had a great voice

this show was one of my favorite shows on TV during the 80's and big draw for me was because of the way JP presented it. he had this great - made for storytelling- voice that just drew you in and made you pay attention. it was totally mesmerizing. he always looked very intimidating but it was that voice of his that kept me in place. the voice was kinda creepy and dark but at the same time was intelligent as though each word he spoke was thought out with great care before he spoke it. whether he was telling you a lie or the truth in whatever he was saying it made me wanting more. that alone made the show for me.

It also did not hurt that he had a daughter with him that was totally cute & adorable and I had such a crush on holly. Her voice was good too but not as good as her dad's;)
