Binge watching

Been watching the show the past couple of weeks. I forgot how good it is, especially the early seasons. And maybe I've mellowed, but the 6 episode season 5 isn't as bad as I remember. Oh, not even close to Vintage Steele or other top 10 episodes, but not as bad as, say, season 3 of Forever Knight. Some good moments in The Steele That Wouldn't Die, in particular.

But it still bugs me that Nero was declawed, even more than when I first saw the episode.

I refuse to be outwitted by a 2-dimensional character in a cheap romantic thriller!

Not to mention that Nero disappeared.

I'm doing a re-watch right now, too, and trying to talk myself into watching "season" five this time. I normally just watch bits and pieces of it, but I figure I should be able to sit through it in its entirety now that 30 years have passed.

Watching multiple episodes in a row, I notice things I never did before. Like the fact there's a stretch of three or four episodes in a row in season two where the Rabbit is significantly damaged in each one of them. So I wind thinking about Laura's insurance rates.
