In Hearts of Steele, did anybody else notice....
That there's an inconsistency in the story?
SPOILER ALERT!
The episode opens with a scene showing us that somebody has driven to a remote area near the ocean to inject poison through the cork of a bottle of Champagne. Then, she throws the sack/rest of the poison into the ocean. Then we are shown her driving off. The next scene shows, what looks like a woman, leaving the deadly bottle of champagne on what turns out to be Marcal's doorstep.
But, near the end of the show, as Steele and Laura have the suspects and Marcal and his wife gathered at his house to reveal the suspected murderer, one of the gal's says that Marcal was noted for not being a drinker.
His wife turns out to be the person trying to kill him. Wouldn't she know that he's not a drinker? Why would she have left spiked champagne on his doorstep, unless it was to throw suspicion off of herself? Had Marcal not taken the Champagne to his office, and given it to a client, Marcal's wife would have only been guilty of attempted murder. But, since the client died, she was a murderer.
You know, you buy the DVDS nowadays, and watch them a few times, and you start to notice these plot glitches!
