I Never Forgot How Awful This Show Was

The beginning of the first and only season was okay, where Matthew and Walter constantly battle the ET villains from Quadris, but the second half of the season turned ultra awful. Things got changed around where Matthew and Walter start taking on 'government assignments' and battle criminals on Earth. I quit watching after that and wasn't surprised when it eventually got cancelled.

The more I study it, the greater the puzzle becomes.

If Cruise had gotten the part back then, he'd probably regret it now.

Yeah, they broke continuity when they switched Walter Sheppard (Louise Gossett Jr.) with the guy with the cyborg hand. Plus, it got too violent. Matt wasn't innocent anymore. They tried too hard to liven things up. Although I disagree on the 1st & 2nd halves. The 1st half season was mostly dull & too immature for its time-slot. Only the ep. with the android & "superman" alien stood-out. Wonder what Shep did with the space ship & android?
