Does PBS plan to release any of the 1980's George Page episodes of Nature on DVD?
There were a number of episodes I remember watching as a kid from the early and mid-80's that I'd really like to have on disk, such as "Secret Weapons", "Krakatoa", "And Then the Rains Came," and several others.
Apparently, they are starting to transfer some of the old Nature Archive series DVD's onto VHS. One such episode is "Death Trap" (about carnivorous plants). I remember it was an excellent episode, but I'm not about to pay $75 for a one hour DVD

With any luck the prices will drop once they've transferred more episodes to DVD, but who knows.
