The hymn being sung is "From Greenland's Icy Mountains" by Bishop Heber, an appropriate choice in a missionary connexion. The tune is "Aurelia" (Wesley).

This is an underrated film, I think, a somewhat uneven script but good performances and many enjoyable incidents.
