Yes, she does get rudely interrupted quite often, usually by someone on the right (e.g., Pat Buchanan), so she has to push back. Having said that, though, her screechy Brooklyn accent grates on me, so I call her the "screech owl." Piece of trivia: she's related to the great actor Montgomery Clift.

shareOverall, I'm VERY happy she was on TMG, even though her politics are stupid. The show would have been INCREDIBLY boring without her. Clarence Page is too polite to measure up to her as a liberal combatant.
Eleanor Clift is incredibly grating not only from the standpoint of her personal style but also the fact of the mindless flashing blue light attached to her forehead.
She may as well get a room with Obama or Hillary... NOTHING these individuals have done, including all of Clinton's criminality, rises to even grudging acknowledgement. Hillary could stab a baby in the heart in a news video and Eleanor would say she had her reasons.
Clift is screeching and abrupt on the program because (IMO) she's weak and her views and logic are weak. She can't punch through the discussion with her stronger and more logically rigorous opponents unless she interrupts.
