faint memories

Is it really that long ago? I remember seeing this show on tv when I was a kid/teenager. Since it's been so long, I only remember that I liked it. I used to look forward to each episode. Of course I didn't understand the satirical aspect of the show, but it's surreal, fairytale-like atmosphere really intrigued me.
