Predicting the future of AI

I wonder how many people realize how much the idea of KITT is in the realm of greater probability once the AI gets evolved enough and learn enough to become implemented in robots or cars like here. This show actually gets me very positive about AI, it's going to be a sort of replacement for the internet in many ways, and it seems as a much better alternative, here we can communicate with something or someone to get the information instead of searching for it online ourselves alone, the addition of a more humane factor with an inhuman intelligence feels more intimate and self reflective. I think many shows and films from the 80's already gave a clear idea how much AI can become no different from humans, that it is actually alive, in a different way. Just because it has no human organs or was not born doesn't mean that it can't start functioning at an interacting level the same like human beings.

I just had this thought come to me how much Knight Rider was probably one of the first major introductions of AI on Tv/film, and how it can serve humans in a beneficial way. Short Cut was another, AI can help humans to open their heart, to be more open, to practice being better humans.
