New Plot idea (a guy can dream right)

I posted this in the new Knight Rider movie thread that is still no where in sight, so I'm posting it here as well since more fans visit this.


So I'm thinking Devon Miles is murdered, giving Michael a reason to come back, KITT has been in storage and he comes back in his original body and personality, very easily accomplished with all the fans replicas out there today, just look at the latest GE commercial from a few months ago featuring KITT and the train and whatnot.

Well, while Michael and KITT capture the bad guy that killed Devon, they realize the threat is not over, that was just a small plan in a much bigger scheme.(also possible that Michael is slightly injured, which is likely since he's much older) That forces Michael to take on the roll of Devon within FLAG and bring in a new more capable character who brings up a valid fact that KITT is great but needs to be upgraded, Michael starts arguing saying KITT is old, but still the best... then KITT interrupts and agrees w/ his new driver and says, he needs more access to today's satellites and the world wide web, he says I need to be able to control traffic by accessing their systems and hacking others sophisticated systems. So they get to work, build a new body, with new technology.

I don't really know what the body should be... I didn't mind the Mustang too much from the series a few years back, but I think the engine should still be something like the original, not a supped up V8. Something that a group of scientists put together, not one man in his garage.

So for the next few chapters in the movie, we see a group of scientists working and dismantling KITT's old body and build a new one, w/ some old capabilities included such as turbo boost and some new features which make KITT show off at first before getting to business.

When he's done, Michael goes to check up on him and before KITT says anything, the new driver says something like, "Hello Michael, meet Knight Industries Twenty Thousand" and KITT says, I still prefer to be called KITT. and Michael says "I'm glad you're ready to go, because our interrogators just broke (the bad guy they captured and killed Devon) and we have intelligence saying his people are going after.........." (whatever) and the new driver and KITT go save the day.
