Before I get the first series on Netflix, I need to know if it was shot on videotape with canned laughter. If so, I'll pass.

Even it does have canned laughter that a good enough reason to it up. This is because of both Mrs Williams(Judi Dench's) and Michael Williams performances make it a show you should try. What do you have against canned laughter? Canned laughter does not in general take away from a well written and performed show. It is a great show chewboy45 you should at least try it.
