Didn't you love Alex's teacher Mr.Tadesco?

In that one episode he threw out the best insults in the history of SITCOMS! 

Jesus NEVER existed! He is Judeo Christian MYTH!

reply

"I had chicken for lunch!"🐤🐤

reply

No, he was rude and obnoxious.

But it's just a comedy! They were comedic insults not virulent insults!

I laughed when he said "I recommend she lose 40 pounds! You could lose 30 yourself!".

reply

It's the episode I remember.

Mr Tedesco: "Yes, lady in the front row".
Mrs Morgan: "Well, Mr Tedesco...."
Mr Tedesco: "Not you. The one next to you. The old bag."

Or.....

"I recommend she lose forty pounds. You could lose thirty yourself. Next!"

I can't imagine what would have happened had one of the black parents asked him a question.

reply

Definitely in my top 5 episodes. Hilarious.

"I had chicken....for lunch." 

reply

My sister and I quote that line to this day. 😁

"Two gin and Frescas"
"Shaken, not ridiculed"

Steven and Elyse each punching him out was great. Jennifer asking them deal with her math teacher had me laughing.

reply

"Oh, Ok, I'll eat the chicken!"

Mr. Tedesco was hilarious, not that I'd ever want a teacher like that for real!

My favorite exchange was between him and the mom who said, "My son says you make fun of him."

Mr. Tedesco asked who her son was and when she said Larry, he replied, "You mean Larry the loser?"

The actor's delivery of that line was so funny. But he was a cruel man. Wonder why he wanted to be a teacher. Maybe he started out idealistic and over the years became jaded by trying to teach kids who were lazy or unmotivated. He just gave up and became bitter.

reply

Maybe he was bullied in school and this was his way of "getting back" at kids.
