Will they ever release this on CD - got both Kids From Fame LP's for my birthday and Christmas 1982 - obviously replaced the 1st one on CD but WANT the other...listening to the songs on the DVD made me want to play Carnival, I Was Only Trying To Help and of course Sho sho sho Shorofsky

Thus far, only the 1st Album has ever been re-released on CD ... and that was some time ago ...
Would like to think that the others may come eventually ... maybe if they continue to release the series on Dvd .. the Cd's could follow
Just a question .. as your words 'got both Kids From Fame Lp's' caught my eye ... you do know there were about 6 Fame Lp's released in all ... just thought I would mention it in case u didnt know

Kids from Fame
Kids from Fame Songs
Kids from Fame Live
Kids from Fame Again
Kids from Fame Rock N Roll World
Kids from Fame (forget its name)
+ there was a Best of ... which is hard to find on CD, but was released on CD and LP

I did know there were more but Kids From Fame and KFF...Again were the first 2 though right? I kind of lost interest in Fame around the 3rd series. When all the original characters were leaving - the new ones didn't interest me.
Being a HUGE Janet Jackson fan - I still have yet to watch a single episode with Cleo in it.

I'm in Australia ... so am unsure how the LP's were released overseas (as in what order)
Over her thou ... No, they werent released in that order ... and only the 1st four were EVER released here
The order was -
Kids from Fame
Songs
Live
Again ... (so Again was the 4th one)

Rock N Roll World was from Season 3 ... but maybe with Season 2 songs
Where as the next one (still havent looked for its name) ... had mostly Season 2 songs on it
(Need to brush up on my Fame trivia)

It did always surprize me that with Janet joining the cast, they didnt attempt to release an Album from the 4th Season, and use her name as the marketing tool ... but they did stage and show in Series 4, two concert episodes ... which hadnt really happened before (Season 2 & 3 each had one episode devoted to concerts)

Again was the 2nd released in Europe when Songs was the 2nd released in the US. Rock N Roll World had 1 or 2 songs from season 3, but was primarily songs from season 2. As far as Janet Jackson, she wasn't that big of a star at that point.. the "Control" album wouldn't be out for another year or so after the 4th season. At that time, she was mainly known as Penny from Good Times and as the Jackson's little sister. She had released 1 album that had flopped and had just released her 2nd album when she started on the show.
