Am I the only Bruno/Coco shipper in the universe?

The answer to that is probably "yes", but I wanted to ask this question nevertheless. I 'd watched "Fame" (the show, not the film) a long time ago, when I was very little (I remember almost nothing from the plots), and I am now rewatching Season 1 on DVD. So when I watched the pilot, with Coco trying to convince Bruno to form a band together, I thought they might make an interesting couple - plus they had some eyebrow-raising (well, to me) scenes, like Coco quietly watching him play the piano, or in the cafeteria when she performed for him and then looked so dejected when he left... I'm halfway through Season 1, and of course I spoiled myself for the upcoming eps, only to realize nothing's gonna happen between them. Nevertheless I wanted to know if I was the only one seeing potential in Coco/Bruno, and that was my little story. Cheers!

I only saw the movie, but I definately saw something at least between them in the movie...I dunno what it was like in the show, but I had always wished they would have gotten together.

The spirit is eternal, deathless...

that was so annoying. I really wanted Bruno and Coco to be a couple. they were adorable together, especially in the movie. And in both the movie and TV series, they showed hints here and there. and the fact they never got together drove me crazy. I couldn't help but think "Am I crazy? Am I the only one who sees the chemistry between these two?" Get together already!

Unfortunately, I think Coco being mesmerized by bruno was ultimately for selfish reasons. She wanted fame SO bad and he was hugely talented and she believed he could be her second hand man--writing songs and playing piano for her to showcase her talent.

Coco annoyed the living H.E. double hockey sticks out of me! She was a stuck up little twit.

OMG, I'm rewatching the season 1 right now and you're right, Coco is one annoying character and not the least bit attractive with her oversized teeth.lol

I love girls with overbites.

Not at all. Coco is annoying. She's selfish and only interested in seeing herself go to the top and leave others behind.
It's interesting that in the last half of the first season, she was not shown in the show.
Anyhow, I thought coco would be good with leroy.

I'll have to say Doris and Bruno had a connection, they even had a kissing scene, but that'was the end of it, no discussion afterwards in further series show they get in a relationship.

Perhaps the show didn't want to focus much on relationships, since maybe that would distract from what the show is about.

The only chemistry from Martelli is when he hooks up with the dance who had the onset of MS. It was a touching episode, but I saw nothing with Bruno and Coco.

Coco ticked me off when she went behind Bruno's back and got him on the performance list for the benefit after he said no. Then she had the nerve to say he owed it to his friends who helped moving his equipment in and out of school. And she then proceeded to call him names. Talk about bratty. She had Bruno so upset and ticked off. You would think she would know a better way to reach Bruno than to push him into a corner all the time. The music teacher seemed to know what to say to get through to Bruno. And Some times his father helped and sometimes Bruno found his way himself. Coco always thinking she was reading to just get out there and work before she learned what she needed to learn to do so. She always found out the hard way. By the second season she seemed less pushy.
