In my younger years, I had thoughts of the same. If they want to do their nasty business, let them pay! Oh, I know, she was supposed to be epitome of evil; but what is marriage but a "business arrangement". The woman is expected to be housekeeper, laundress, brood mare and all those other things men don't think of, but would be "uncomfortable" without. In return, we are "privileged" to call ourselves married women.
If that isn't "business" I don't know what is. Love is a lie...
