What main character was your least favorite? I liked Carla but didn't love her because I thought she was too mean sometimes to be taken seriously.

shareI think Carla ran her course after season 3. She was suppose to be the counter to Sam's impetuous nature, but I feel they should have moved on from her as she found a better career.
I didn't like it when they tried to slide in new bar customers who just didn't have any business being there, but at least the writers sensed this and stopped doing it as the seasons progressed.
Carla was the most unlikable for me. Diane second.
When Shelly Long quit it was the best thing that happened to the show.
The only reason I'd say Carla (the character, not Rhea Perlman, is my least favorite is because most, if not all, of her gags were set up by others to be easily belted out of the park. I think every other character had genuine comic and perhaps even poignant moments.
The cast was uniformly excellent, imho. Even Kirstie Alley, who is loathed these days for her political opinions, was a great comedic actress, at least in that show.
The coach, he was the most annoying and obnoxious, each time his scenes came on, I'd skip them, but when he was serious, he'd be ok...!
shareIm only 5 1/2 seasons in. Currently its Diane. I find her annoying. Her character was good before, but im far enough in its beyond old. I'll be seeing Kirstie Alley next season. So i cannot comment on her yet. Never really liked her as an actress though. I mean, I don't hate her, but she doesn't rate in my book as high as it seems she does in other peoples book
