Better choice for Florinda?

When I was watching this, I suddenly realized that Brenda Vaccaro was the only person playing a Hispanic character in the movie who didn't have an accent. It made me think who might have been better for the role. The first and best name that came to mind was Rita Moreno. Sure, she's Puerto Rican rather than of Mexican heritage and she's quite a bit older than George Hamilton, but she could do a fine Spanish accent, and she has proven to be a good comedic actress on several occasions. Someone famous for "Hey, you guuuuys!" could surely have done the shrill Florinda character justice. And to top it off, her birth name was Rosita, the little rose, perfect for a character named Florinda ("flowering").

Yeah, she was. And strictly speaking I don't think she was supposed to be playing a Hispanic character, just a woman married to the village idiot ... uh, Alcalde.
