Duke Of Earl

Ok, I don't know where else to post this, so here it goes. I remember watching a movie called Duke of Earl or The Duke of Earl in the late 80's or early 90's. Can anyone help me with this. I want to know where I can find it for sale. Thank you.

I watched Duke of Earl in the late 80's as well and was wondering what I would think of it if I saw it today. I did a net search and the only place I could find it was at www.movierellik.com, under the drama section. Check it out.

A lot of people on ebay are selling it packaged with Boulevard Nights. I think they're all burns, you know, they don't come in the real case. People burned them at home. But, evidentally, they all play well. The customer reviews are all good from what I have seen, except for the people complaining because they didn't know that it wasn't the real copies.

I think the only real copies available of Boulevard Nights are going for like 40 bucks. This sucker is RARE. My god, if you're into urban Chicano movies and you ever see B.N. sitting in some mom and pop's video store's bargain bin, snatch it up, fast. I imagine they'll be re-releasing it soon, though. There's such a demand I can't see the owning studio not wanting to cash in on it.

Duke of Earl is more of a church related movie that uses real gang members, is it not? I believe this would be the film version of the play, that still takes place to this very day. I don't know how good this is. Any of you guys see it, post a review. Or, start a page on it at IMDB if you can. I tried a search and one doesn't exist.

The Duke of Earl was made by a church called Victory Outreach. www.victoryoutreach.org You may be able to get a copy there. I also purchased a copy thru that other website posted above and the quality is pretty good. The actors in the movie are ex gang members. Very good movie with a message!
