Why Hasn't This Incredible Film Been Released On DVD?

This was an incredible movie and Richard Dreyfuss gave an exquisite performance. Christine Lahti was great too, as always. Why hasn't this been released on DVD; and why haven't any other fans requested for it to be on this site? PLEASE RELEASE IT SOON!!!

I absolutely agree! This film should have been released on DVD years ago - No one seems to know why it hasn't been. Come on world - wake up and be heard!

And what sucks even more is that you can't rent it on VHS anywhere. As a Netflix member, I am dying to see it.

Agreed. This movie aired on HBO a few times in the early '80's and that was it as far as I can rememember. It hasn't shown up on any network or cable channels either. Funny how some films get shown to death (ex: AMC's eternal marathons of the 007 movies.) And then there are some, like this, that just seem to fall off the face of the earth. Maybe there are legal reasons why it hasn't been released.

I tried to get a copy when it was on VHS in the early 90's but they wanted $80 for it. This is my only regret in life, I should have forked out the money.

I rented this movie from Captain Video last night and I'm sure they would sell it to you for a lot less. It's one of my favorites too.

They use to air int on TCM channel. At least for us swedes.

NETFLIX HAS THIS FILM ON DVD RIGHT NOW! Try eBay if you wish to own it.

I enjoyed it very much last night. God, Dreyfuss was so intense and articulate when he testified his case before the judge.

I taped it when it was on HBO on VHS. So since Santa brought me a DVD recorder, I thought that it would be perfect to record on DVD myself. But after 2 minutes, a screen jumped on my tv screen telling me that I couldn't record this. Very strange indeed. They must have put a chip in the film to keep it from being copied from a copy. Hmmmmmmm. All I wanted was a hetter quality movie on a DVD. In the meantime, I'll keep looking for the release. Perhaps it will end up like Backstairs at the White House and after 30 years finally get released??? Let's pray it happens. FABULOUS MOVIE !!!
