Anyone know where to find the TV version?

The film played on French TV as a 260min mini-series. As even the 3-hour version seems rushed, does anyone know if this version was ever available outside France in a subtitled version?

I have no idea where to find the film or TV-mini. I just walked down memory lane, triggered by a mentioning of Bolero, to look for that TV-mini I first saw as a child, probably 1983, when I was 12 years old. This was in Sweden. I can't remember how long it was, but it was definitely more than three hours. The mini was either in French or English, can't remember, and subtitled in Swedish. The title of the mini was "Bolero", possibly with some addition. I think Swedish TV (SVT) showed it at least two times later, it was very popular. I just loved it, mostly for the music, i.e. Ravel's Bolero, that ran through the series and bound those three generations of artists together as a theme. I hadn't heard Bolero before, but got so hooked, that I asked for the music on LP, Deutsche Grammophon, conductor Daniel Barenboim, a record that sadly got a scratch some years later. :(

This a great film even in its shorter version. After seeing it the first time I was haunted by the images, the dancing and the music. I had to watch it again and again to put it all together and each time was a rewarding experience. It would be wonderful to see the entire mini-series.

BTW I was fascinated by the dancing of Jorge Donn, who played the Nureyev like character. I did some research about him. I was very sad to find that he had died at 47 of the same cause as Nureyev.
