I believe Lord Kuruku appears in Unico: In the Island of Magic, the sequel to The Fantastic Adventures of Unico.

I must have watched this as a kid at a very young age I'm thinking 3 or 4 because I was born in 83. But one thing that has always stuck with me is that song that is played when the puppets head to the boat it's like a flute disco song lol. I'm 33 now and still I could remember that song and I was like where did it come from? Then I remember it was from a cartoon called "unico" I then found it on YouTube.

Funny how the brain works, nostalgia.
